Chocolate: Benefits of Dark Chocolate .
Dark Chocolate : Chocolate made of plants which means it has many benefits of dark vegetables , These benefits from Flavonoids which are Antioxidation actor, So it protects you heart from many troubles .
Other benefits ;
- It tastes good .
- It contains serotonin , Which acts as an anti-depressant .
- It stimulates endorphine production,which gives a feeling of pleasure .
- It contains theobromine, caffeine and other substances which are stimulants .
Chocolate has fats which do not impact with cholesterol ; The fats are 1/3 Oleic acid , 1/3 Stearic acid and 1/3 Palmitic acid .
- Oleic acid : is a useful fat and also found on olive oil .
- Stearic acid: is a saturated fat but researches showed that it has a neutral effect on cholestrol .
- Palmitic acid : is also a saturated fat which raises cholestrol .
Which means that Palmatic acid is only the fat that is bad for you .
But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't eat a pound of chocolate a day , it is still high calorie and high fat food .
